Conference registration details for the FLGISA 2016 Annual Conference will be available soon. Please check back for more details in March. The annual conference will be held July 26-29, 2016 at the Boca Raton Resort. The conference is open to all local government technology professionals.
The FLGISA has awarded eight $1,000 scholarships to students throughout the state of Florida. This inaugural scholarship was created by the Florida Local Government Information Systems Association to provide assistance to incoming and current college students whose parents are employed by member jurisdictions.
The FLGISA provides members with an interactive message board, FLGISAnet, that provides members with opportunities to share information, ask questions to other jurisdictions and offer support on technology issues. FLGISAnet allows for better communication and an easier way to track questions, share responses, find RFP's and conference documents.
The goal of the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) and Certified Public Technology Manager (CPTM) programs is to provide public sector and non-profit technology professionals with educational networking and collaboration experiences that will enhance their ability to serve as leaders in their communities and in the state.
