FLGISA Awards $8,000 in College Scholarships
The Florida Local Government Information Systems Association has awarded eight $1,000 scholarships to students throughout the state of Florida. This inaugural scholarship was created by the Florida Local Government Information Systems Association Board of Directors to provide assistance to incoming and current college student whose parents are employed by member jurisdictions.

Certified Public Technology Leadership
Certification in local government technology leadership consists of two levels: Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) and Certified Public Technology Manager (CPTM). Programs are open to technology professionals employed by a city, county, constitutional office, or other local government organization. These programs are designed to develop and sustain leadership communication skills and enterprise thinking.
