Happy New Year SW District! With the holiday season officially behind us, it is time to focus on our 2012 goals and objectives. As part of that, I am committing to updating this site more frequently. If you have news you would like to share with the membership, please let me know and I’ll be sure it gets posted to our site.

Our Fall District meeting was a huge success thanks to the participation and collaboration of everyone involved. We are in the early planning stages for our Spring meeting, tentatively scheduled in April. Despite holiday delays, we are still planning to create “techie” roundtable meetings. Mike Berrios will be reaching out to the membership in the near future to coordinate a kickoff meeting. Director at Collier County Government!
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the Winter Conference next week. The “Enabling Transparency: Government of the People” theme and agenda look excellent!
